Q: Can I make a per step/mile/etc. pledge?
A: While we don't currently have a way for you to submit an official pledge, you can simply comment on the fundraiser's page with your pledge or tell the fundraiser personally what you'd like to pledge. Wait to hear how many steps/miles/etc. the fundraiser completed. You can then give a one-time credit card donation to their fundraising page for the pledged amount.
Q: Is my donation tax-deductible?
A: Yes! IJM is a 501(c)3 organization. You will receive a tax-deductible receipt for your donation to IJM if your name is linked to the donation, and you give directly to IJM. If you give cash and would like a tax-deductible receipt, you must include a note with the cash donation that lists your name, address and gift amount.
Q: Where does the money raised go?
A: Every dollar goes to International Justice Mission’s Urgent Needs Fund. This fund is used to help all our teams worldwide respond to the most critical needs: rescue operations, donating medical supplies to local authorities or supporting survivor restoration.
Q: Can I donate by check?
A: Yes, you can donate by check! To ensure the fundraiser gets credit for your donation, please print their name on the memo line of the check or include a note specifying that your gift is for _______'s fundraiser.

Q: I gave by check but did not see my donation on the fundraising page. How do I ensure it gets attributed to the right person?
A: Check donations take a bit longer to process than credit card gifts, but these check gifts will be added to the fundraisers' page once we receive the check at IJM. It is also important to note the name of the fundraiser you are supporting in the memo line of the check or on a note included with the check donation so that they get credit for your donation!
