On June 26th, Glenkirk will be hosting a Race to Rescue to raise awareness and money for International Justice Mission. IJM is an organization whose goal is to save millions of people and children who are trapped in slavery around the world. International Justice Mission has worked for over 20 years to rescue and protect people from violence. IJM and their partners collaborate with local authorities to strengthen justice systems and build communities where people can be safe and protected.
We encourage you to sign up with friends and family to walk, run, bike or crawl to help IJM get one step closer to bringing children who are trapped in slavery and violence to safety. There will be a 3 mile course and a 1.5 mile course to choose from.
We are asking each participant who signs up to set a goal on how much they would like to donate or raise and spread the word. If you can’t join us on June 26, you are welcome run any distance on your own before our event. If you are unable to participate, please consider donating to help the Glenkirk Church Team reach their goal.
Remember to take photos and post on social media with #GKRacetoRescue. All participants will get a thank you gift for signing up. The first 50 participants who sign up with at least a $15 donation will get a T-shirt and one lucky participant who posts a photo on social media will win a prize.
This is the perfect opportunity to get out and move with your friends and family for a great cause.
Will you join us?
